G+_Marlon Thompson
On the last TWIT Leo Laporte brought up the Microsoft/Cyanogen story and one of the guests didn't want to talk about it saying it was boring. Last night with the same topic we had a great discussion that touched not only on Android but Microsoft's future strategy over the next few years. The fact of the matter is for me AAA is the best show on the network right now because Jason Howell is awesome (we all know that)and he gets great guests who are into Android but can also step back and talk generally about technology. Myriam Joire and Aaron Newcomb fantastic show last night
G+_Nicolas LaBarre
Marlon Thompson? I completely agree. AAA is a humble show and TWiT is now about big name pundits who think they're above the conversation.
G+_Clinton Mendonca
CM does not have a large-enough userbase to warrant discussion on TWiT based on a partial investment by Microsoft. I currently have it on CM on my GS3 and am extremely disappointed with the lack of progress on a Lollipop update.
G+_Marlon Thompson
Clint Mendonca I disagree on TWIT they discuss quite a few stories that I believe don't warrant discussion. This on the other hand was Microsoft who has their own phone OS contributing to Android developers. When you are as big as Microsoft questions arise. G+_L I
Marlon Thompson? agree wholeheartedly. It was one of the better AAAs in a while. Clint Mendonca? I don't think the angle here was CM, it was Microsoft using CM as a way to attack Google. Their strategy under Ballmer was RT, Metro and Scroogled. Their strategy under Nadella is apps and cloud. It'll be interesting to see if this "investment" into CM turns into much more in a year's time.
