G+_Marlon Thompson Posted June 21, 2016 Share Posted June 21, 2016 On the apps section Hey Jason Howell, so on your apps section.You know I always thought that the purpose of that section was to introduce new apps that wouldn't necessary be " Android Arena" worthy or so popular/ notable that you wouldn't put them in the arena but also to showcase major updates to apps we know and love. Being an AAA viewer before episode #1 I have seen the Apps section of the show evolve as the OS has. The fact is Android apps get updated far more often than iOS apps and Google updates their apps almost every week and a few times it is very significant changes. So yeah of course they will appear in your apps section, to me that is a good thing. So I say devote the apps section to new apps but also changes that have a major impact. And this whole thing about Apple getting these unique apps, I disagree, its just different takes on similar concepts but its always a big deal because unlike Android, Apple often has 2 or 3 major announcements during the year and as such Apple press focuses on rumors, accessories and apps.
