Just watched 102 and a small suggestion would be turning on airplane mode (probably already suggested). Then turn on wifi if application requires data. This would avoid calls and texts during the demo (apart from google voice etc I guess). Really like the show. Keep up the good work.

Or, let's get really complicated, and automated!

 

Get the developer of "Is it Time for AAA?" to make his/her app a plugin for Tasker.  Tasker would then poll the app.  Once it's time for AAA, enable Airplane Mode, re-enable WiFi.  Once AAA is done, disable Airplane Mode.  To fix the Google Voice issue, there is a Tasker Plugin called "Locale GV Plug-in".  This can control all of your Google Voice settings, including Do Not Disturb.  Enable Do Not Disturb when active, and disable it when done.

 

This should work no problem.

That'd be awesome Joseph Cappellino but it may be better if a fan were to make this into a Tasker app for the AAA crew. None of them seem like the type that would take up that much time for something that so rarely happens
