G+_Wade Shields
Is it just me, or has that "save to desktop" option they added to Chrome a couple of updates ago been removed? I've checked Chrome Beta and Chrome app. It's missing from both, at least on my devices (Note 2 and Nexus 7). Jason Howell, have you noticed this? Edit: Here is a link to the Chrome Blog describing the update. http://chrome.blogspot.com/2013/10/chrome-for-android-gets-application.html?m=1 I can't believe no one remembers it. It was a big deal. Effectively, bringing Web apps to Android so dev's could bypass the Play Store and just make a great HTML5 Web app that worked on computer and mobile. G+_Wade Shields
Patrick Conant Not sure what you mean. You're starting point is TOOLS but I'm not sure where that is within the Chrome app. I looked all through settings. ?
G+_Patrick Conant
For me it's the first option right under the tools menu. We may have different versions.

G+_Ross Olsen
Choose bookmarks.then hold down on the bookmark you want to send desktop. The menu will appear.
G+_Wade Shields
Thanks Ross Olsen, but I'm not just talking about saving a bookmark to homescreen. I'm talking about that feature they added a couple months back where from any website you could select menu (or overflow button) and get an option to save to desktop. Basically it was a web app. The option is now gone, and the app I setup on my home screen is now just a broken link. ?

G+_Wade Shields
Joseph Cappellino, Tom Gehrke Do you remember this, and if so, do you still have the functionality in your Chrome or Chrome Beta for Android?
G+_Patrick Conant
R.C. Curtright yup, my bad. I was trying to be helpful while half awake. Sorry about that.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
Wade Shields it was there. And just last week, I tried adding Android Device Manager (which I had done before) to the desktop, but it didn't work. They must have just removed it, as it's no longer there for me either.
