G+_Mark Lastiwka
why don't you get the One as well?

G+_Cass Morrison
I'm with you shamara Lewis . I've had one problem (with the original Galaxy S) and Samsung was awesome. I love the added functionality as well.
G+_Mark Lastiwka
don't listen to Cass Morrison! She's as far along a Sammy-fangirl as they go! lol

G+_Mark Lastiwka
Cass Morrison - I only have two sony devices. Google TV and Xperia Tablet S. Of course my PS3 doesn't count, right? lol
G+_Cass Morrison
And your wife's Sony...at least I got Fred a Z10 for variety.
G+_Mark Lastiwka
and shamara Lewis's bf got an HTC. Doesn't hurt her Samsung fangirl-ness. Just like my wife's sony doesn't affect my Sony fanboy-ness lol
G+_Benjamin Rumble
I find this "S4 or One" discussion hilarious So much effort in deciding which one (lower-case "o"), when I'm sure they're both great pocket-computers. Sure, one is a bit plasticy, and the other is metally, and slightly different features, but jeez! IT'S A VERY POWERFUL COMPUTER IN YOUR POCKET! IT'S FREAKING AMAZING! G+_Mark Lastiwka
Benjamin Rumble - My beef with it is that everyone defaults to the sammy phone for no other reason than it's a samsung, even though they are both excellent devices. As a result, HTC gets another red year even though they worked their asses off making a pretty awesome device. I feel bad for them. I also try and push the Nexus 4 too lol
G+_Daniel Navetta
I'm jealous of both of you.
G+_Benjamin Rumble
Mark Lastiwka fair enough. I have the SII, myself and it's great except for the terrible AMOLED screen and the splotches in low light. It's really pretty bad. Never get an AMOLED phone, be it Samsung, Motorola or other wise. G+_shamara Lewis
Mark Lastiwka I don't think it will be red for HTC they are coming out before samsung for people who are less techie then us they will go with whatever is the best thats out. I think samsung waiting to release the s4 will hurt them
G+_Mark Lastiwka
maybe, shamara Lewis. But samsung has always heavily invested in marketing, and just talking to regular people around me, they are all talking about the SIV. I don't think any of them even know that HTC has a phone out. We will have to see how it comes out this year.
G+_Cass Morrison
I think part of it is carriers Mark Lastiwka . I would have to switch if I really wanted a One where the S4 is everywhere.
G+_Mark Lastiwka
What do you mean, Cass Morrison? Like carriers carrying the phone? All the big three are carrying the One...
G+_Cass Morrison
You're right, It's advertising. Samsung is on the Bell splash page so you'd have to look for the One.
G+_Mark Lastiwka
You can still see the One on the main page, but it's usually hidden behind the GS4 or near the bottom, with the GS4 at the top.
G+_Mark Lastiwka
It's the same problem Android in general had several years ago with iPhone...
G+_Marlon Thompson
BTW Cnet gave the S4 an editors choice award and a higher review score than the HTC one.Does anyone know if the "normals" visit CNET a lot for buying advice, if so HTC will be swimming against the tide
G+_Kyle Mallory
CNET also gave the HTC One over the iPhone 5 in the prize fight. Comparing reviews can be tough. S4 will undoubtedly sell better than the One. The One looks like a great device. I've gone from being an HTC guy, to a Nexus guy and it's tough to look back. But, I'd be happy with any of them. The Thunderbolt made me bitter, but the One looks amazing! All comes down to brand, marketing and mind share. I hope the One does well, I'm sure the S4 will and I hope Nexus continues to grow.
