G+_Jakub Baczynski
well... i'm running out of options then. have a look at battery usage and see what app useing most power. if it uses power it may also use a lot of data, maybe it's something your employer installed? G+_Skylar Wicklander
Since you just got the phone, could the large amount of data simply be the initial syncing of all of your apps and etc?
G+_Jakub Baczynski
not that much of data i'm afraid
G+_Jamie King
When I got my Nexus 7 last month it showed a large amount of data on the first app sync, IIRC it may have been close to a gb.
G+_shamara Lewis
But it has used 1gb of mobile data and 1gb of WiFi just on android is that's still a lot of data ?
G+_Michael Abernathy
Go to your accounts. Check and see if the Google account has one of the many things it updates stuck. If it is stuck it will be the only item in the list with a little circle with arrows on it. Uncheck the box beside it if you don't need it or Uncheck it and then recheck it to hopefully force the stuck update.
G+_Bjørn-Eivind Kvam Netla
I noticed that Dropbox was trying to download everything to my phone, do you use Dropbox?
G+_Nana Yaw Ofori
I've heard that there's an issue with some versions of CyanogenMod resulting in Google Services repeatedly attempting to download 4.3 OTA on wifi or mobile networks, resulting in usage spikes similar to this one. I'm not familiar with rooting and installing roms, so I'm uncertain about the actual specifics. http://www.cyanogenmod.org/blog/cyanogenmod-10-1-3-rc1/comment-page-1#comment-1021438017
