It really comes to the coverage though and if you travel. I would jump to TMobile in a heartbeat (100 mins and 5GBs? Sure!) but their coverage sucks in my primary area. I'm currently on Straight Talk ATT LTE and it's wonderful!   I am on the upper end of my data allotment at the end of the month (2.5 gb) but not over.  I'm also around a lot of wifi so I only use cell data when I'm out and about.  Though, this doesn't work for everyone.

Coverage is everything. My job is in an area covered by all three companies. Verizon is the most reliable for my home and kids school. I so don't want to be on Verizon anymore. Verizon has a lot of bloat and they demand Verizon versions of phones. My Note 2 came without a notification panel button for wifi. I read that is because Verizon wants you to be on their network and not wifi. So they took it away. They are always the last to release OS updates. I wish I could be on T-Mobile.

Demond Rice Ultimately this is a per customer decision.  The decision is mostly about 3 points: Reliability, coverage, and price. The ONLY variable that is consistent between all of us is price, so that is all we can really talk about.  Obviously if you can't have T-Mobile due to reliability or coverage, then this is just one big moot discussion.  ;p

EDIT: yeah doesn't read as well as I said it in my head. Basically I'd be in the same boat as you, I'd wish I could be away from Verizon
