G+_Joshua Gaede
Excuse the noon question but I'm still getting use to android and getting use to my nexus7 with stock android. On my gs3 I can delete home pages by tapping the home button quickly. How do I delete blank pages on stock android. Thanks AAA community
G+_Tim Davis
You can't with the stock launcher. You can use Apex or Nova or any number of replacement launchers to limit the total number of homescreens, though.
G+_Nick Webster
You can't. If you want that feature you will have to try another launcher such as NovaLauncher.
G+_Tim Davis
Also, I thought tapping the home button on the Galaxy S3 just took you back to the "main" (middle) home screen, not necessarily deleted it. Then again, I didn't use Touchwiz long -- first thing I did to my SGS3 was root it, unlock the bootloader, and install CyanogenMod 10.1 :D
G+_Aaron Kimmins
On the stock launcher you can. Hot menu while on home screen, hit manage I think, that will show all the home screens, should have an x in the top right of each. Hot that and it will delete that screen. G+_Aaron Kimmins
+Nick Webster yeah. It is. I had three home screens.
G+_Aaron Kimmins
Sorry, on stock home screen, hit menu, hit edit page. This brings up all the home screens. Hold the one you want to delete, drag to remove on the bottom. Forgot what Samsung uses
G+_Nick Webster
Aaron Kimmins Android 1.5/1.6 have 3 home screens. The stock launcher that comes with Android 2.1+ has 5 home screens and they are non-removable. What device do you have?
G+_Aaron Kimmins
Or does he mean not on gs3? If that is the case my bad. I thought he was talking about that since he mentioned it. Sorry. Carry on x
G+_Nick Webster
Aaron Kimmins Oh. He was talking about stock Android (what comes with the nexii) which does not have those features.
G+_Tim Davis
Aaron Kimmins he was referring to the Nexus 7, I believe. EDIT: nm, Nick Webster beat me to it.
