G+_Scott Senffner
Hi, I'm new to Android, just jumped ship from iOS to my shiny Nexus 5, and I have a question. I have a Chromecast, an Apple TV and a PlayStation 3 hooked up to my TV. What is the easiest way to get local photos and videos from my Nexus to my TV like I did with AirPlay? Thanks for the help! P.S. Any tricks for taking better photos with my Nexus 5? It's a little disappointing. An app suggestion?
G+_M. Li
Download the Skifta app on the play store. It is a DLNA server for Android. You can stream photos, music and vids to the PS3.
G+_M. Li
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skifta.android.app&hl=en I believe it's free (I already have it installed, so I don't remember what price it has) and it's also released by Qualcomm, so you know it's not a fly by night operation. G+_M. Li
With regard to taking photos - yeah, the camera isn't necessarily my favorite. However, you can play around with alternative camera apps. Just for starters, try maybe CameraZoom FX. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=slide.cameraZoom&hl=en I also use Photoshop Touch for Android (there's a cheaper version called Photoshop Express for Android) to do photoediting to modify pictures after the fact. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.com.adobe.pstouchphone&hl=en
G+_Jamaar DeBoise
Keep in mind Nexus 5 camera problems are software related and fixes are on the way. So just hang in there I'm sure it will improve once updated
