G+_Chris Porter
I'm debating the same question, what are your thoughts?
G+_Bill Burbage
I'm either picking up the HTC One or waiting it out for the Nexus 5. My last three phones have been Samsung so I'm itching for a change.
G+_George J
I have to stay with Verizon because the coverage in Eastern VA is great with them and terrible with the other major 3 companies. But for me I guess I'm waiting for the Note 3 when the contract on my Galaxy Nexus is up. If I had to pick from those two I'd take the G4.
G+_Samani Sergeant
Chris Porter The HTC one..... just love the hardware. HTC has that built quality versus Samsung plastic cheap feel. Now TouchWiz has more customization verses sense 5. Its really killing me because I want to make the right decision.
G+_Samani Sergeant
Bill Burbage bill interesting point. Google always deliver..... Nexus 5......the thing I'm worried about is the cost.
G+_Chris Porter
I've been feeling the same way. Feels like there's just too much Samsung software and the HTC One is oh so pretty.
G+_Samani Sergeant
Chris Porter ohh man. I check out some of the review videos and everyone says it look and feel great. Samsung on the other has had some killer features on the s4.
G+_Steve Vander Ark
Wait for the Motorola X Phone before making a decision. Might not be everything it's rumored to be, but you'd hate to see it come out and wish you hadn't jumped too soon.

G+_Lucas Nichols
I have never had an HTC phone. Back in the day I had to chose between the evo and the epic 4g on spring. The epic was a clear winner. Ever since then I have never even considered an HTC device. As for the moto x phone I am curious about that. I got burned by moto with my photon 4g. They just decided one day to no longer update it even though sprint was still selling them in stores with a 2yr contract. I am interested in why people think HTC one over the gs4 though. My HTC experience was from 3yrs ago so I am sure they have gotten better.
G+_George J
Lately it seems as though with Samsung the community who wants to root or unlock their phone have an raiser time doing that with Samsung phones than with HTC. Starting with the S2 all the way up to the Note 2. I'm on a Galaxy Nexus now and MUST have pure Android. I think it would be easier to get that with the G4. G+_Jo Welde
Lucas Nichols I had the original EVO and loved it for two years. Then I switched to the Photon and disliked it so much that I sold it after a few months and paid full price for the HTC EVO LTE. No regrets at all, it's a beautifully built phone with a great screen...and I like the Sense UI. So when my contract is up later this year, I'm very likely to go with the HTC One (although I may go with a Nexus phone b/c it'll get updates faster). I just don't care for Samsung phones--too much plastic, I don't like the touchwhiz UI, and the screen isn't as pretty.
