G+_John Gravina
Hi, listened on podcast 0 & 1. Wanted to download VS. Tried, but couldn't. The VS Community won't load on my home Vista. Nor, my work xp. Searched & found 2008 earlier versions. But, they are all zipped or whatever. Very frustrated. I have spent hours on this thing. So, how do I load/install VS on a Vista, XP machine. I would like to do the VS 0 & 1 simple coding. Thanks,
G+_Geoff Moore
The current VS has a minimum OS requirement of Windows 8.1. https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/visual-studio-2015-system-requirements-vs#1 Windows XP is not even supported anymore by Microsoft. That machine should have been replaced long ago. Your best option is to upgrade the Vista machine.

G+_Geoff Moore
Installing VS is the least of your concerns. http://www.attorneyatwork.com/bid-farewell-windows-xp/ http://www.lawtechnologytoday.org/2014/02/the-end-of-windows-xp-april-8-2014/ http://www.lawyersmutualnc.com/blog/why-you-should-upgrade-windows-xp-todayIt's time for an upgrade. G+_John Gravina
XP works fine; worked when I bought it; works now; works for others. Not interested in fancy, shiny, trendy things. E.g., don't listen to Taylor Swift either.
G+_Nathan Young
It's not a trend John. There comes a time when you have to upgrade everything. Cloths , cars, your bed. Nothing lasts forever things get old and wore out. Your XP is like a pair of jeans that show more skin then they cover. Time for new jeans John. I'll bet you don't watch a tube tv. Good luck.??
