G+_Colin Murphy
Does anyone know if a way to backup home screen settings, widget placement, backgrounds, that sort of thing? Having to reconfigure all of this is the biggest pain I face when I swap between ROMs. Titanium Backup, and the like, give me my apps back, just not in the way I remember having them. G+_Joseph Cappellino
Are you using the Google Now Launcher? If so, I'm not sure there is. Third-party launchers usually have an "export/import" functionality.
G+_Mark Stronge
I wonder would the backup data work for the Google search app?
G+_Julie Wills
Nova Launcher will save most if not all of that stuff if you use its backup option. It can also import (at least some of) your current launcher's settings. I forget how much, as I can't remember NOT using Nova :-). It can't instantly restore your widgets, but it does remember what and where they were, so you just have to tap on the widget's space to confirm you want it back (and maybe choose the settings, depending on the app)?
