G+_Ken H
Just wanted to share some news I just found out about. I've been using the $30 Prepaid Plan on T-Mobile since it came out and I thought since all the wording everywhere for their "Music Freedom" streaming I was not on a plan that supported it (since it said Simple Choice everywhere). I contacted T-Mobile support online and here's the convo and I linked the site she gave too. T-Mobile: We have received your information and will connect you with a T-Mobile Chat Specialist soon. Rose A: Hello Paul! You: Hello, I'm just wondering if my current plan is qualified for "Music Freedom" or not Rose A: It's great to know that you're interested with our "Music Freedom" offer! I can certainly provide the information you need Rose A: Please allow me review your account first. You: Thanks Rose A: May I please have your T-Mobile number? You: xxx-xxx-xxxx Rose A: Thank you. Rose A: Thank you for your patience. Rose A: I am glad to inform you that your plan which is monthly plan for prepaid is eligible for "Music Freedom". You: Nice, thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if it was or not when reading online. Great news Rose A: For the list of the applications, please visit this link: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10969 Rose A: Please let me know if you still have other concerns today, I'll be happy to help. You: Nope that's all. Thank you very much for the info Rose A: It's my pleasure to help you. Your satisfaction is my happiness! Rose A: I'm glad to assist a valued customer like you, Paul! Again my name is Rose A, thank you so much for choosing T-Mobile, we appreciate and value your business. Enjoy the rest of the day! One other thing. For those of you that don't know this... here's the rest that you get with this plan: 100 minutes (I use Hangouts for my calls so no worries on minutes) 5GB of LTE - Throttled after 2.5GB of Tethering - As of 10/20/13 Free Domestic (US) Roaming - As of 10/20/13 Unlimited international messaging (texts) - As of 5/9/14 Unless you are in some crazy grandfathered plan, some type of family plan, or someone pays your phone bill I don't know why you'd want any other plan from any other carrier. Well that is if you can get T-Mobile coverage. Great service and I'm more than happy I left Sprint when they brought this plan out. It's been nice to see things added to it without me having to pay more or renew some type of contract http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10969

G+_L I
Awesome news. I'm on this plan too - it's the perfect plan to use with Google Voice.
G+_Paul Werner
Lee Ball yeah but from all that I read companies are not paying to get their sites or services to not count against the data plan in this. T-Mobile did this on their own as an incentive
