G+_Guy Couturier
Jason & Ron, this might be an interesting topic for All About Android or Arena. Originally shared by Christopher Ursich Google Fit needs: 1) The ability to conveniently import data. I have years of weight data that I would like to import, but I can find no way to do it without writing my own software. 2) The ability to conveniently export data. Google Takeout has no listing for Fit. Of all the types of data in my Google account, health data is the most likely to be useful to me elsewhere. Therefore, I will continue to use a spreadsheet as my system of record, and Fit only as a possible throwaway.

G+_Patrick Conant
If it paired with Fitbit and had more game development it would be fantastic.
G+_Christopher Ursich
My friends who have Fitbit tell me that Fitbit has no interest in interoperability. If so, there's nothing Google can do about it.
G+_Patrick Conant
Not surprising, but I keep holding out hope.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
From what I know of the API, you, err someone, should be able to write an app/service that can do this.
G+_Christopher Ursich
Yes, and I'm surprised no one has. Or, I can't find it in the Play store. (There's no way to search based on Fit support.) When I looked at the API, it was too advanced for me.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
I haven't looked into it. Not much free time ;-).
