G+_JD Fuller
I know someone in this community can help me out. My wife has (had) a Droid Charge. My son (17 months) decided to spike it in to concrete and now the screen is cracked under the glass and won't turn on. My wife is not nearly the enthusiast that I am but I want to square her away with a quality phone. Where is the best place to find a re-furbished Verizon Android phone. I want something that I can root easily or is as Vanilla as possible. I was looking at Xperia Play or Galaxy Nexus. She won't let me spend a lot of money on it. I am looking at under $100. G+_Jeffrey Young (lilazndu
Don't go with the Xperia Play (Not a great phone, though it's in the same league as the Charge). Galaxy Nexus would be my pick, because, well, it's a Nexus device. It's going to be difficult to find a used phone for under $100 though :(
G+_Jacob “Jake” Bowen
This is for my wife, really I just need something cheap I can root and put CM 10 on. The good thing about the Xperia is easy to root and throw a ROM on and I should be able to find it cheaply somewhere
G+_Ed Reilly
I'd look on ebay. When my phone got soaked in a downpour while motorcycling across Ohio a couple of years ago, I ended up getting a replacement for $50. Granted it was an HTC Eris, but it was also 2 years ago. G+_Jacob “Jake” Bowen
Well we ended up finding a Xperia Play on ebay fur $70 so should work out ok. First order of business will be to drop CM 10 on it to get it up to date.

G+_Lucas Nichols
The nexus s is cheap and has jellybean on it. Seeing them used on craigslist for $50-75. The galaxy nexus goes anywhere from $150-350 depending on accessories and all. If she isnt a cell junkie just grab the nexus s. She won't know the difference anyway. G+_Tim Davis
Since she had a Droid Charge, that means she was/is on Verizon, so the Nexus S wouldn't be an option. Used Galaxy Nexus would be a good choice, though, sure.
G+_Brian Garrott
Swappa.Com has a good selection of phones. It's a pretty cool site if you buy and sell android phones fairly regularly. ?
