G+_JD Fuller
I have a question that I think could probably best be answered by this crew of people. I REALLY want to drop VZW for T Mobile; but..... Their coverage is horrible once you leave any major city. I have been reading some things that lead me to believe that T Mobile is moving all of their 2g (edge) coverage to 3g HSPA on the 1900 mhz spectrum. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Here is the T Mobile release I am referring to: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5736 http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-5736
G+_Rowdy Scarlett
Verizon is a pretty scummy company, imho. However, they DO have the best network, bar none. I've tried them all and always regret switching. When it comes to getting a signal and having coverage- Verizon.

G+_Jacob “Jake” Bowen
I already know the service is shoddy at best but the article in the link leads me to believe there is a major network upgrade coming but I can't figure out how much of one

G+_John Mink
Joshua Hughes the problem with your plan is the "get the phone you want part".... at least, that's always my problem with VZW! Apart from that, i've actually had a pretty decent experience (although, as Jacob Bowen points out...don't ask my wallet)

G+_Evan Sweeney
What about an MVNO that uses the Verizon network? Straight talk can utilize Verizon, I think. Bring your own device and get the coverage you want? Anybody have that kind of experience? I don't, but have been thinking of alternatives lately too.
