G+_grumpyjock
hey guys... im looking to purchase a 8"+ Android tablet at about $200 , and am looking for recommendations. Im currently eyeing the Samsung Tab A 8.0, but feel like it looks to boxy and the bezel is too thick, making the actual screen much smaller. Any recommendations...?? G+_Russell Sprague
I second the sheild, thought it is not a thin and elegant tablet. It is a beast, durable, fast, the screen is great, and if you game a lot it eats though anything you throw at it. The sound is really good too. My only gripe is battery life could be better, but it's not horrible. I watched two movies and a couple TV show in a cross country flight, but it was in airplane mode. G+_Russell Sprague
It was full at the beginning, and almost dead by the end. When I use it regularly, I have to charge it at the end of the day

G+_Warren Rehman
Get a used Sony Z2, great screen and battery life. Performance hasn't been an issue for any games I've played on it. Waterproof is just a perk.

G+_jani koskela
I get 4h of screen on time with Tab S which is two years old. Going to replace the battery soon, since I don't think this is enough. Also, get an external battery, I'd recommend it to be 8Ah or more. With it you can recharge the tab while using it wherever you might not have a wall outlet to use or can't stand still and wait.
