G+_James Armstrong
I got tired of waiting for the OTA (Kit Kat) for my Nexus 7 2013, so I broke down and decided to sideload last Sunday, just 2 days ago. I'm just getting ready to turn in for the night and I'm greeted with this update. I've heard nothing about an incremental update for the Nexus 7 beyond the 4.4 that's supposed to be rolling out right now. This one is small, just under 4mb. But it certainly caught me off guard. Anyone else get this small update yet after already receiving 4.4?
G+_Rick Keith
Andrew Melder Thank you, I had no idea. Bug fix is good!

G+_Brad Bernard
Interesting. I felt the same impatience with my Nexus 2012 wifi and loaded the factory image be I've seen no other update since.
G+_Sidharth Dassani
I am yet to receive the 4.4 on Nexus 4 or Nexus 7 (2013). Don't want to sideload and hence waiting in anger ?
G+_Feiris Wheel (Pat)
Rick Keith Yeah, I did the same thing
G+_Rob Verlander
Thanks for the heads-up. I side-loaded 4.4 on my 2012 Nexus 7. When I read the post, I looked and found a notification that I had an update waiting.
G+_Ned Jeffery
I would suggest that is the reason I haven't got my OTA yet.
G+_Scott Hughes
Yeah I lost root and recovery.
G+_Nelson Jimenez Marquez
I also sideloaded the update on my Nexus 7 2013 and this morning there was a OTA message in my screen. After I installed the update, the build version changed to KRT16S.
G+_mike kershaw
I had sideloaded the update previously, upon receiving this update it errored, then on reboot rebuild the ART cache and then everything immediately crashed. Fortunately, 16S factory image is available from google at the usual spot. To recover without losing everything (if this hits anyone else), download the factory image, unzip the image-razor-krt16s.zip file, then: fastboot flash boot boot.img fastboot flash recovery recovery.img fastboot flash system system.img fastboot flash cache cache.img This is all the install script does - except it also installs userdata.zip, which erases your user partition. Personally, i'd reboot at least once with fully stock, THEN reboot into fastboot again and re-install a custom recovery and root, just to make sure everything is as it should be. G+_Mike Flanagan
This is more than likely the 4.4 r2 update I received it earlier today.
