G+_David Dennis Posted January 16, 2016 Share Posted January 16, 2016 I just want to spread the word, do not buy Motorola phones. Support and customer service are awful!! I really wish it was a different story. I bought my wife the Moto X and myself the Droid Turbo (1st edition). My turbo was having issues so I began the 6 month repair cycle. I'll save the details, just read the BBB website complaints and you'll see. I'm having the exact same issues. I love the device, the UI and the little software add-ons but its just not worth the trouble. From what I can tell, this is a new thing since acquired by Lenovo. My screen had backlight bleed, that's all. They said they'd send me a replacement phone. Two weeks later no phone, they said they were out of stock and I'd have to wait. Called them yesterday and they thought they were sending me a nexus 6. I corrected them. They said I'd have to wait. I kept calling them yesterday asking where and when I'd get a phone. They said they were going to send me a link to moto maker so I could design an all new phone. 24 hours later I have yet to receive the email with the link. I found you have to be really insistent to get your issue resolved. I'm calling them today to ask for my the link to my motomaker code. ?I really hope it works out for you and you get your phone. Nobody seems to be able to give me a straight answer. Frustrated, I went to the BBB website and saw a ton of similar complaints. Hope you get your issue resolved...
