I was listening to +thetechguy with Leo Laporte today and he talked about an app for syncing microsoft exchange (outlook 2007 calendar) to android and he mentioned a desktop app that did the syncing pretty well, but he didn't mention the name. Does anyone know the application he was talking about or have another suggestion? Thanks in advance. I appreciate it.

To be honest, the new official outlook app by Microsoft works pretty well on Android. It now syncs contacts and calendar events with the device, which was pretty tricky and inconsistent a few months ago.

Android connects directly to Exchange, what are you trying to sync? You can load your Exchange calendar natively, and even overlay it on your Google calendar. On the other hand, if you are trying to sync all appointments between your Exchange calendar and Google calendar so they show up on both, then Google Calendar Sync used to be the tool but it was discontinued. It still works if you can find a binary. They make a new version of Google Sync but it's only available to apps users. There are thee or so other alternatives that are commercial products which I recall finding when last I looked for sync options.
