G+_Enoch Conley
In Part 4 of the series, I discuss about the trade-offs I had to make and a number of revelations I got from my experience of using tablets as my only phone. http://indotechgeek.blogspot.com/2013/07/why-i-think-phone-capable-tablets-are_18.html
G+_Greg Busby
What kind of real life battery usage do you get? I've thought about doing this too but am wary of a dead device after half a day. I use stereo bluetooth all day and sometimes stream content. How is your day compared to this?
G+_Bobby Situkangpoles
Greg Busby I average around 70-80% screen on time on either Wi-Fi or HSPA and I had not got anything less than 12 hours. With CPU power saving mode it easily goes over 15 hours under similar heavy use.
G+_Greg Busby
Wow. That may help me go over the edge. I work outside as a letter carrier so I still need to figure out the portability factor but many cases are being made every day
G+_Bobby Situkangpoles
Greg Busby it seems like your job, like mine, requires you to be in the road most of the time. In that case, going the tablet-as-phone route will surely help in avoiding battery anxiety, imo.
