G+_Lawrence Taleon
Looking for an app that would either let me use my Nexus 7 (2012) as a 2nd monitor or just let me extend my pc keyboard to the tablet. Most of the time it's only going to show text (Evernote, Twitter, podcast chatrooms.). I've tried the splashtop extender. It would have been ok for free but at $5 and being stuck at using only 60-70% of the small nexus 7 screen doesn't seem like a good deal for me. I can get away with just using the apps on the tablet but just using an app to let me use keyboard and mouse on both pc and nexus.
G+_Ned Jeffery
$5 is not a very high price to pay. Maybe you should lower your expectations. Software costs money.
G+_Lawrence Taleon
Ned Jeffery I get that but I'm just trying to find ideas to see if there is a better alternative. The app also hasn't been updated for over a year so I doubt I'll get what I'm looking for from Splashtop Extend.

G+_Lawrence Taleon
Paul Bentley have you tried it? Only concern is that they don't have a trial option so I can see how it performs over my network
