G+_Wayne Morgan
Ouch. Bad news for us Galaxy Nexus owners. http://www.gottabemobile.com/2013/03/26/samsung-quad-core-cpu-required-for-android-5-0/
G+_Robert Nazarian
This very well could be true, but it's pure speculation. The bottomline is that Samsung (as well as other manufacturers) never seem to update devices more than once or twice. So even if there isn't a quad-core limitation, I wouldn't expect those Samsung devices to get Android 5.0 anyway.
G+_TJ Evans
Even if this is true you should add the duisclaimer "atleast not officially", right? :)
G+_Saurabh Kumar
This makes me a sad panda :(
G+_John Adams
As of today I'm very happy with CM 10.1 JB on my 1.5 old Gnex. If tomorrow I'm not happy, I'll get a new one. :-)
G+_Chris Robison
This can't be true. That would mean that the nexus 10 would not support it.
G+_Robert Nazarian
Chris Robison Very good point. The post is just speculation since Samsung isn't supporting older devices, and somehow they are blaming it on the CPU rather than admitting that OEMs don't care to update hardware that's more than a year old. G+_Michael Abernathy
Pretty sure this article says, "the company may essentially be saying." So just because Samsung isn't pushing updates to phones, does NOT mean that Google won't be pushing the update to Nexus devices. Samsung just wants you to upgrade.
