G+_Troy Luchterhand
So can anyone please tell me the point of having a large capacity SD card in the note 4. Don't get me wrong, I have a note 4 and love it. I have a 32 gig class 10 card in mine. I see cards with 100+ gigs for sale, but what's the point other than shooting pics and vids. I recently bought and downloaded a movie from the play store and realized you can't put them on the SD card anyway. Has anyone found a way to put a movie on your SD card? ? G+_Yodi Collins
Other than download the movie from the play store onto your desktop computer/laptop and then transfer it to the sd card on the phone, I don't know. None of the phones are designed to permit save to SD card as far as I know. The files you want saved to the phone have to be transferred to the phone after the fact. G+_Chris Clayton
I have a note 4 and have never needed extra storage. But will be flying soon so I've put some tv shows films etc on an sd card for the journey. Also when on holiday I'll be taking lots of pictures and videos so I'll need extra for that. G+_Rey Rios
If you use Plex, you can sync your own ripped movies to the SD card.

G+_Mike Wolfson
You don't need Plex to copy your own ripped movies - you can use a variety of tools (I suggest "ES File Explorer"). You can use it to copy from a variety of sources (LAN, Cloud, etc) to your SD card.
G+_Anna Nowakowski
If you go to the Google play movies app settings you can choose the sd card as your storage location.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
Troy Luchterhand yes, Plex is in the Play Store. Mike Wolfson? the benefit of syncing with Plex is that the movie can be in any format and any resolution. With Plex Sync, it can transcode it for you automatically so it'll properly play on your device or conserve space.
