G+_Michael A
So I'm sitting her thinking about some of the stats that have been laid out over the past couple weeks with "50% of the tablet market is android" and "millions of new android devices being activated daily" (ok, maybe that "millions" was a stretch) And then I was listening to Google Music and I noticed how many devices were linked to my account. They were all mine, however, my N7 was on there three times. Based on the dates shown "activated" I figure it was... once at my original purchase(Activation of google music) once when I flashed LiquidRom to try it out once when I flashed CM So... With all the android devices being activated daily... are there some numbers skewed in there? Seems that when you do a complete reset and flash it's considered a new device. OR... am I over thinking things here? Jason Howell Ron Richards Gina Trapani #android #stats #activation #Nexus7 #cyanogenmod
G+_Marlon Thompson
Yep your over thinking it I remember reading a blog post where they explained it and the made mention that if you flash it does not count as an activation. So those are actual numbers
