G+_Robert Blois
Got a Nexus 4 for my wife. Now I want vanilla Android more than ever on my Galaxy Note 2. Suggestions? Is vanilla RootBox the way to go?
G+_Jim Jackson (J3xtr)
I run CM10.2 on my Note 2 with Sprint.
G+_George Fromtulsa
Rooted my Gen 1 Note. Left it stock with Apex Launcher so I don't see TouchWiz. Samsung isn't updating N1, but N2 might receive Samware updates for pen you might like.?
G+_Shawn McGuire
I was considering it but I want to try stock vanilla android. How does CM 10.2 work on it? Just in case I to that route.
G+_Jim Jackson (J3xtr)
I think it works great. It was a challenge for me to get it on there but I don't miss Touch-wiz a bit.
G+_Carter Loose
I'm a big fan of Paranoid Android. Many useful feature bur you may want a lighter rom
G+_Kavil Chheda
Just install Nova launcher..
G+_Jim Jackson (J3xtr)
Nova will get you close. If I were you I'd try nova to see if that gets you close enough to what you want. If the little hints of Touch-wiz still sick out enough to annoy you like they did me then jump to CM.
G+_KJ Kim
Another vote for paranoid android. It's super stable and simple enough for beginners. Once you're feeling adventurous then I would go for PAC man ROM which is a combo of paranoid, cm and AOKP.?
G+_Dougie van der Beak
I'd say, install cyanogen. Or if you don't want to change the Rom, extract Trebuchet . apk from the cyanogen ROM for the Note 2 and install it on your phone. I've done something similar on my note3, though I used Trebuchet from the S4 cyanogen as I wanted to make sure I had a version that would run on an HD screen.
