G+_Scott Youngquist
Android reader question Hey all, I'm a new Android user (converted from Apple). I have a Nexus 6, which is an awesome phone and I have no complaints about it! My question is, on the iPhone 5s I had, I was able to slide down 2 fingers from the top at the same time and Siri would begin reading whatever was on the screen. This was convenient because I could listen to my school material while commuting to and from work. I haven't found this feature on Android, and the TTS apps I've tried don't do this. Any suggestions??
G+_Clément Roux
Pocket have this feature build in so as long as the materials are on a website it should work. Give it a try.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
You could try going into the Accessibility settings, and see if any of that helps.
G+_L I
According to this article by Florence Ion?, the Text to Speech engine has to be supported by the app you're in. http://www.greenbot.com/article/2105862/how-to-get-started-with-google-text-to-speech.html It also mentions a talk back mode but it sounds like that is overkill. G+_Jason McMahan
Yeah the Talk Back feature is a bit much. Thanks for sharing that article!
