G+_Jarrad Byron
I'd love to see a python episode covering importing RSS / XML and saving it somewhere (MySQL, Google Docs, etc.) So many cool things can be done by scraping XML feeds, and it could be a good way to get into APIs and databases in general. G+_Frederik Creemers
I agree that it is useful, but the state of xml in the standard library is a mess, especially due to the lack of good documentation, so I'm not sure it would work in a 101 class. If you're interested in this, I can recommend this book: http://shop.oreilly.com/product/9780596001285.do
G+_Jarrad Byron
Released December 2001 - Couldn't have been based upon anything newer than Python 2.1.1. Is anything in that book still relevant?
