G+_Paul Miller
What's everyone's favorite TWIT app for Android? I'd been using Twit Pro but the developer has discontinued the app.
G+_Jose C Martinez
Twit Pro & Twit Cast still work but unfortunately only for live broadcasts. Pocket Casts is cool but not for live broadcasts. I started using TWiT-Stream but it is only good for live streams. I've been unable to find anything that does both.
G+_Ann Adams
Thanks for asking this...I'm in the same boat. TWiT Pro was an awesome app, not sure what happened that made him drop it suddenly. It looks like TWiT Netcasts has both live and on demand, but costs $1.49. I might try that one.
G+_Jose C Martinez
Dang, I should have spent my $1.49 on that one. Lol Thanks Ann Adams?, that'll be the one I'll grab next. I don't know why I didn't buy it in the first place.
G+_Jose C Martinez
Oh I remember why... It doesn't support Chromecast ?
G+_Gary Volk
I just download with beyondpod.
G+_Ann Adams
Ok, just checked TWiT Pro on my phone, and I didn't install the update, so it still works to watch live or older shows. I'll keep that for now, and try the TWiT Netcasts app on my Nexus 9.
G+_Paul Miller
Ann Adams I did the same on my phone but my tablet that I watch most of my TWIT shows on was set to auto update. The truth is I actually watch on YouTube most of the time but it takes several hours longer for the shows to upload there and so I used TWIT pro when I was especially impatient. I've tried some of the others but it really like TWIT pro's layout.
G+_Ann Adams
Paul Miller Yeah, same here! I like to watch live when I can. I guess there's always twit.tv/live on the browser if needed. :D
G+_Nick Pera
I was using twit cast but it looks like its no longer doing recent episodes. Bummer.
G+_Walter Gual
I thought Twit Pro stopped development because Twit is doing their own apps.
G+_Jose C Martinez
I think TWiT? needs to step up to the plate and make an official app. ? #JustSaying ?
